Power Hit (Weak Hit?) is a recurring battle gameplay concept in the Tales series. During battle, it is stylized as "POWER HIT!" (WEAK HIT!?).

Function

Power Hit was first introduced in Tales of Graces, where when an enemy is struck with all the attributes it is weak to, the damage dealt to it increases further. Tales of Xillia 2 simplifies the process by requiring striking the enemy with only one elemental weakness to increase damage dealt to the target. Additionally, striking the enemy with a different element, even one that is not its weakness, will extend the Power Hit time, as well as its multiplier.
