Balanced Blade (フェアーソード, Feaasoodo^?, "Fair Sword") is a recurring weapon in Tales series. It is Milla Maxwell and her fractured self's trademark sword that serves as their main weapon skin during their appearances outside Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2.

Weapon Description and History

Balanced Blade debuted as Milla's weapon in Tales of Xillia that can be bought in weapon stores once they reach level 63. In Tales of Xillia 2, Balanced Blade returns as a weapon for fractured Milla as well as her prime self. It can be bought in Marksburg and found aboard E.S.S. Pelune. It increases user's Dexterity and critical hit rate.

In Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave, Fair Sword appears as a mid-class weapon for Milla that is unlocked when she reaches level 35 and increases her HIT by 1 point.

In Tales of the Rays, it appeared as Milla Maxwell's ★3 weapon that taught her the arte Thunder Blade. As a weapon skin, it is the initial skin for Milla Maxwell and her fractured self's. Additionally, increasing Milla Maxwell's Spirit Gear level to 1 unlocks a green-colored weapon skin variant called Fair Sword [Sylph] (フェアソード【シルフ】, Feasoodo [Shirufu]^?).

Milla Maxwell also uses the Balanced Blade during her cameos in Tales of Innocence R and Tales of Berseria as well as during her appearances in Tales of Link and Tales of Crestoria. Fractured Milla uses Balanced Blade during her appearance in Tales of Link as well.
